Y6 Residential Visit

Year 6 had a highly successful residential visit to Condover Hall in Shropshire, with staff particularly praising the excellent behaviour shown throughout - always wonderful to hear. The children fully embraced every activity, represented the school brilliantly and clearly had a fantastic time.
Review of the Visit
On Sunday 15th March, we travelled to Condover Hall in Shropshire for the amazing Year 6 residential. Eighty-five children and nine adults came with us. Before lunch (after an hour and a half journey), we arrived at Condover Hall, just in time for our first activity. After settling into our dormitories, we went on the ariel trek. It was fun and I enjoyed it.
Later, it was time for dinner and there were three options to choose from. If you didn’t like anything, there was plenty of salad, fruit, bread and pasta! The food was good and then we got some down time before our evening activity. My favourite activity would have to be the Gladiator Wall, because at first it looked scary, but I got to the top and I was so proud.
I learnt so much during my stay, but I think the biggest thing is if something happens, there are so many trusted adults around to help you. I have so many memories from staying there. These are some of my favourites: when we were all shining our torches during the disco; a funny moment when we egged our instructor and, to round everything off, my favourite moment was when I reached the top of the trapeze. I had such a great time, and I would definitely recommend it.
